I learned that another of my friends died in 2020. Fred Way, Ray Locke, Bessie Shove, and I hung around together at New Haven State Teachers College (now Connecticut State University) in 1957-1959. Fred married Lynn Hofer in 1966 and I visited them several times in Cheshire while I was working at Book World in New Haven. When I left for Washington DC, we lost touch and they moved to Vermont. Fred was one year behind me at North Haven High School and lived down Maple Avenue from us, across from Sinow's Grocery.
